Menu Planning Monday

We had a crazy-busy weekend, since Michael was a groomsman in a good friend's wedding on Saturday.  After all the wedding celebrations were finished, we ended up going out for pizza and bowling yesterday for Father's Day.  The whole weekend was a lot of fun, but it actually feels good to get back into the regular routine and get caught up on some household chores!

My dear friend who is unfortunately moving out of the country gave us some frozen meat from her in-laws cattle, so I'll be using some of that this week.

Breakfasts:
Banana bread, cereal, yogurt, eggs

Lunches:
Leftover chicken and pasta; cheese, crackers, and pepperoni; peanut butter

Dinners:
Mon - Hearty Meatball Sandwich (never got to this last week), garden salad
Tues - Leftover sandwiches (picnic at Daddy's softball game)
Wed - Ronaldo's Beef Carnitas, corn, watermelon
Thurs - Leftovers
Fri - Frozen pierogis with sauteed onions, garden salad
Sat - Grilling: chuck roast, ribs, lamb chops
Sun - Leftover grilled food

Baking List:
- banana bread (done!)
- tortillas
- blueberry muffins or pie (blueberries on great sale at Giant!)

  1. Fresh baked banana bread is sitting on my counter right now--makes the best snack/breakfast. :)
