Even though it's still hot as blazes here, I feel like summer is rapidly waning for us, as my oldest starts school for the first time in three weeks. I'm totally emotional and overwhelmed about it and how it will change our lives. Little things like making sure I have the right foods to pack in her lunches every day seem very overwhelming to me right now. This all gets easier, right???
However, it's still summer for now! Here's our menu for this week:
Breakfasts
Cereal and milk
Chocolate beet/carrot bread
Yogurt
Toast
Lunches (served w. peaches, blackberries, melon)
Soups from the freezer
PBJ/nutella sandwiches
BLT's
Dinners
Mon - Ham and cheese pasta, salad, corn on the cob
Tues - Breakfast for dinner - bacon, eggs, and hash browns
Wed - Sausage casserole from freezer, veggie
Thurs - Baked chicken, mashed potatoes, veggie from our produce box
Fri - Pasta with fresh tomato sauce, salad, bread
Sat - Homemade pepperoni pizza, salad
Sun - TBD
