Twice a year, I get a day to myself that my husband knows is sacrosanct. It is every March and October when I volunteer and shop at Catholic Consignments.
I have my system down to a science at this point. I am able to spend one day volunteering and shopping this sale, and I don't even bother to attend any others. Catholic Consignments is the largest sale in Loudoun County, Virginia, and since I shop early in exchange for volunteering, there is a huge selection available.
Another reason that I feel great about supporting Catholic Consignments, is that, unlike other for-profit sales in the area, the entire proceeds from this sale goes to charity - helping the needy in our community.
