Menu Planning Monday

We grilled out for the first time this season on Saturday!  We continued our practice of the past few years of grilling a large amount of food on the weekend and eating it all week.  We cooked hamburgers, hot dogs, kielbasa, and chicken, plus potatoes, onions, and apples!  My husband is getting more expert at grilling, and everything turned out really well.  I got a really yummy Mother's Day dinner out of it as well.

Here's what I'm planning for the rest of the week:

Breakfasts
yogurt, cereal, toast, banana bread

Lunches
sausage subs, cold cut sandwiches, peanut butter

Dinners
Mon - Leftover grilled hotdogs & hamburgers, potatoes, corn
Tues - Grilled kielbasa, sauerkraut, potatoes, salad
Wed - Chili (x3) - bringing meals to two friends with new babies!
Thurs - Leftovers et al (Daddy out late)
Fri - Baked Ziti, salad, bread
Sat - Weekend tba - maybe grilling again!
Sun -

Baking List
 - sandwich bread (rising as we speak)
 - banana bread
- French bread

  1. Sounds like a yummy menu! I'd like to start grilling ahead once our weather gets better in MI!

  2. Your menu looks great! I love when we're able to grill once and eat all week!

How do you prep your apples for the grill? I bet they turn out delicious!
