Can you tell I have birthdays on the brain? Today's Tuesday Tip is sign up for birthday freebies for yourself, your spouse, and your children. A huge number of restaurants of all kinds offer freebies for kids' birthdays or for all birthdays. Check out the extensive list at Freebies 4 Mom.
Some of my favorite birthday freebies are the $3 gift card from ToysRUs and free ice cream at Baskin Robbins and ColdStone Creamery. Also, I was excited to hear from my friend Ashley how she got a free mini cake at Harris Teeter for her son's first birthday, and apparently other grocery stores have similar programs. I'll certainly be checking that out for my little girls 1st birthday coming up in September!

Harris Teeter does give your child a free "Patty Cake" for their fist birthday - just register in the store. For my son's first birthday this year - I asked them to decorate it just like his big birthday cake (for the family)and they did! So cute!
