Menu Plan - First week of March


The month of March starts tomorrow, and I am thinking of spring!  I'm starting to try to lighten up some of our meals from the many soups and stews we've eaten over the winter.  I'm also trying to incorporate lots of fruits and veggies, as I'm still trying to shed some baby weight here.

Here's what we're eating this week:

Breakfasts:
Whole Wheat pancakes
Veggie frittata
Cereal and milk

Lunches:
Leftover pizza from the weekend
Canned soup/chili
Kids: salami sandwiches/crackers, yogurt, pbj

Snacks:
Apples and peanut butter
Crackers and hummus

Dinners:
Mon - Curried Chicken with Ginger and Yogurt, avocado and orange slices, drop biscuits
Tues - Salisbury Steak w. onion sauce, brown rice, green salad
Wed - Creamy chicken with biscuits, green salad
Thurs - Leftover salisbury steak, rice, veggie medley
Fri - White bean and spinach pasta, bread
Sat - Ham and bean soup from freezer, bread, salad
Sun - Leftovers, etc.
